i'm back.

mmm. im glad that im finally smelling my home again. sniffs.

just got back from my hometown after celebrating cny. i've always loved chinese new year. this whole week has been so wholesomely rich. with all those events and memories etc. (: (:

though its home sweet home now. i still have a weird feeling like i couldnt settle down or something. like things are still in a mess in my mind and lots of things i havent done lah. but now the first thing i think of is to sit down and blog. how weird. lol.

how's your new year celebration going? i would say i was trying to make mine as memorable as it could be and. i did it. :D

oh well. to cut things short. i enjoyed every bits of it this year. (big thanks guys) the food. the fun. the crazy moments. It feels so good when you're expecting to meet all those cousies again. those babies. those kids. (i like my nephews calling me uncle cause it sounds so old) lol.

yes i have nephews. oh. i shall repeat. not my real nephews but neph-nephews.

now my mind has all lots of stuffs i couldn't arrange. it was all but a beautiful mess. (:

and let me clean the mess up for you can continue reading.
1. we didn't sleep early every night.
2. we lighted up fireworks so loud we rang the neighbour's car alarm.
(for the first day of new year)
3. we didn't wash our hair.
4. instead we bathed ourselves with a very cool lime-flavoured tea leaves formula.
4. we showed our love to the plants and became vegetarian.
5. and we ate two bowls of rice.
6. we shouldn't sweep the floor. and we obeyed. (who cares)
7. we posted crappy messages about each other on tv. and laughed like crazy when those words popped up on the screen.
8. we went to my dad's orchard.
9. we fish.
10. we had barbeques.
11. still cleaning the mess in my mind.

they said touching the dancing lions' butt will bring you good luck. sadly i missed the lion dance at my aunt's cause i was visiting another family back then (sorry serena. no lions) but for the first time i managed to see the "qi lin" in the afternoon. they are skinny and scarier-looking.

oh we took photos in a casino which we shouldn't cause its illegal. My aunt actually owns a club and it has a tiny casino in it. wow. so many numbers flickering everywhere on the wall.

and almost every night we heard gambling cheers from the elders over the table. aiyoh so cheerfully noisy. or noisily cheerful.

i just caught a flu.
so i guess ill have to stop here.
my runny nose is bugging me so much.
sucks.

ah. what a mess. gonna unpack my stuffs. check my loaded inbox. catching up with blogs. (fyi serena got a new blog. here) etc etc. :S

At-choo!

I.must.bath.

til then bye guys.
i couldn't smell my room now my nose is stuck. sniffs.
upload those photos soon. cheers.

my brother took all of these photos except the last one. XD

it begins to rain after a while.

wet logs, damp grassbed, gloomy leaves. very cool.

Details in the Fabric

details matter a lot.

its amazing how puzzles can be done quickly when us. fix the pieces together one at a time. puzzles are like our lives. if one piece goes wrong, replace it. fix it. and face it. and in the end you'd be amazed how pieces end up to something beautiful.

this is the wonder of humans. we see things with our own eyes and interpret differently with the heart. maybe a smile could mean something more to you. or nothing at all.

for some people, a rainy day, a phrase, a loveletter might had its secrets to share.

it's all about the details.

when mummy scolds you for dropping those cookie crumbs on the floor. and you have to clean it. don't get frustrated. smile you've made the ants a meal happier. see. how crumbs aren't just crumbs, they are something.
You too are something.
Think about it.

have confidence. sometimes the smallest details in you may help in determining great outcomes. its okay to contribute with things you've got.

be thankful. do everything the best you could, even if its the tiniest.

life always shine through in the details.
:)

shh. and listen
Details in the Fabric (wasn't the best quality. all noise and shakey. but oh well. :) )

PS: blushie, i finally found someone to do puzzles with. a january afternoon isn't boring after all. :) ;P

can you feel it?

Something for your tracklists. though i wasnt a big fan of chinese music. enjoy.

Lee-Hom brought a variety of elements and revolution to his music. Every single of his album has a very different personality. Not just the typical lovesongs but all. conserving the earth, loving your culture and different perspectives on life, etc. and that's what i look into him.

This album, heartbeat. blends in the traditional chinese instruments with the electric guitar and bands which we address as chinese-rock. Something new yawh. definitely gives you the heartbeats you need. (though i thought not all the songs are nice. hehe.)

Come closer. I'm not a button. I'm here just to please your ears.
(Listen as the electric guitar unravels its emotional side to fuse with the piano and all. A very unique 'character' :) :)

If you listen to the rhythm of the pouring rain.
.................................................you'll feel better.
